What is the delta cancellation policy right now?

Delta's cancellation policy is currently as follows:

For flights booked directly with Delta, you can cancel your flight online or by contacting the Delta Reservations center. If you booked your flight through a travel agent or third-party website, you will need to contact them directly to cancel your flight.

You will receive a full refund if you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking. If you cancel your flight after the 24-hour window has passed, you may be eligible for a refund, depending on the fare class you booked and the specific terms of your ticket. Some fares may be non-refundable, but you may still be able to change your flight for a fee.

If you need to cancel a flight due to a medical or family emergency, Delta may waive the cancellation fees under its Exceptional Circumstances policy. You will be required to present documents to back up your claim.

If you have a Delta SkyMiles account, you can also use your miles to book a flight and then cancel it without penalty.

It's important to note that Delta cancellation policy may vary depending on the specific terms of your ticket and the fare class you booked. It's always best to review the terms and conditions of your ticket before booking, or to contact Delta directly if you have questions about the cancellation policy for your specific booking.
