I'll write up some docs for EVE echoes
The issue arises with EVE Mobile ISK creating the market question in the first location. If you don't spend your time on the client doing manual marketplace questions, you've a not do this and part ifld against TOS.Are you trendy with third parties hitting on the website API? There are scores of spreadsheet makers out there that would love this.Yeah, perfectly! It's possible to observe the API URLs in case you check that the network requests it is making. I put the API behind Cloudflare therefore it should be safe for you to hit it as much as you want.
You're welcome! Let me know if you make something cool using it.May be a fantastic idea to cache API calls on a CDN for historic purposes, perhaps daily outputs, this way we could create long term trends on the data. Also, Are you really capturing locations for your buy and sell orders? Could be Neat to break this down by different areas to see demand. Jita is a wreck right now.The API gives a list of historic stats, which means you should not need to cache anything. :-RRB- And yeahI have places but I am not exposing that yet.
Yeah, do it! I'll write up some docs for the API at some point and put them on the about page, however you should be able to figure it out by simply taking a look at the network tab at a browser.I'm looking at creating some personal tools*, so this is really useful. It happens to me this could be integrated with sheets pretty readily, too, because data can be loaded and processed via scripts. If I make them and use them, I'll share thembut not till they are validated. I have also used all my spare time really playing the game instead of working on tools.
Just wondering, how can you get those data? Is there available api somewhere? There isn't an API, I am basically just scratching the same data which you can view from within the game.Sounds just like a lot of work! How often do you update prices?I've gotten so I can update several times per day, right now.I want I got in programming. You're amazing.Maybe I'll look into what language would you say is fantastic for an entire newb? Python?Yeah, python is a great starting language!
Your ore purchase and market prices do not look right.I just created an update to the website which should make the numbers a bit more accurate. I will keep working to try to make them the most useful. Allow me to know if you think they're some better!Ore numbers look a lot better now, however I find that for ships such as Kryos and Mammoth the market price appears to be the ingame reccommended cost, not the value of cheap eve echoes isk the real boats being sold. Thanks for the pointers, I will keep looking into it.
