I guess beloved is a powerful word, but they are definitely popular

I get excited by the fact that Villager is in Animal Crossing Bells crush. To which he responded,"Not really, I have never played Animal Crossing", which, honest.

Smash was one of the very first video games I ever played and that I don't play a lot of video games so there's a very small number of fighters who I played their source game before they had been in Smash. Greninja and Joker too, but I just played like 10 hours of Persona 5. I suppose Piranha Plant? Fighting to think of any others

I guess beloved is a powerful word, but they are definitely popular - particularly in contrast to how much they were reviled when they were declared! I said this is in a different opinion, but they have a decent number of players, a more dedicated playerbase, representation online using the best player in the world right now, and the overall belief is they're actually very fun and saucy (compared to what was anticipated ). I am talking especially about those instances where there was a powerful contrast between anticipation/ announcement response, and how the character is obtained after discharge. Byleth fits that bill.

I had been there back in the day checking the dojo and gamefaqs everyday and remember there was lots of fear that characters were being cut. Some people were thinking that even LUIGI had an opportunity of coming back and looking back to this is so amusing. I think big part of the mentality was Lucas' announcement, it stated something aluding to him carrying Ness' spot from the roster. Idk why but I remembered all of that thanks to this small quote

They should because nobody's favorite character was ROB or Ice Climbers. Those are games and toys which could fade into obscurity if it were not for Smash. Mega Man is essentially a Nintendo character for how connected the show would be to Nintendo, as is Simon. These are iconic personalities you think of when you consider Nintendo. Ridley could've been added at any point they wanted, his motions and design aren't that complicated. Spirits at all should be a fantastic example of this mindset from the devs - a number of these spirits have no other representation from the game, but the game still warrants addition for Sakurai

Surethey aren't as well known or iconic, but I think an argument could be made that ROB being at the game is a good thing, as how else would that crazy idea of the toy peripheral be remembered?

I'm not even certain if I feel this is a good thing or not, but I really do love that ROB and Duck Hunt have been in the game since I like Smash for picking the unconventional path. Whether or buy Animal Crossing Items not it's a good thing, it is apparent over and over again which Sakurai's leadership is focused on gambling history and intriguing fighters, so it's futile clamoring for this match to comprehend celebrity quality
