Don't Text while Driving

Nowadays almost all individuals have smartphones and use their gadgets very often. However, focusing on mobile devices can make people less attentive and preclude from recognizing barriers even when walking. In the case of driving, mobile phones become a real threat due to high speed of the vehicle and limited time for reaction from the driver. Individuals should avoid texting while driving because such practice makes them less careful and may cause serious road accidents. Using mobile phones when performing some other activities usually makes the person less concentrated. In the case of texting, individuals become not only focused solely on the process of communication, but, as a recent research shows, also have limited physical abilities. It is well-known that the person should hold the steering wheel of the vehicle with two hands. However, when texting, the driver loses the opportunity to respond effectively to the external challenges, what negatively affects the level of safety. Therefore, the focus on texting cannot be compensated by the person to make the process of driving safe. Obviously, individuals should avoid texting while driving because it negatively affects the level of road security. Primarily, the driver loses concentration and becomes less focused on driving when sending messages via the phone. At the same time, the person should always realize the high responsibility of the driver for other drivers, passengers, pedestrians and individuals who can be hurt in the case of inaccurate behavior.
