EA Sports has confirmed that it will continue to Madden 22 coins provide updates and support Madden NFL's "Franchise" mode following reports that suggested that the developer would not issue any additional updates for the game. In a statement to IGN the spokesperson for EA Sports said more updates will be coming in the course of Madden NFL 22's live services approach.
"We don't like to speak about rumors or speculation. However, we are committed to continuing to improve Franchise as a feature of our Madden NFL 22 live-streaming service, as well as beyond it," the spokesperson said. "This includes two planned Franchise updates that will be available in Madden NFL 22. We'll be providing more details on the updates in the new year."
Sports Gamers Online reported recently that EA Sports opted to cancel any further updates to Madden NFL 22, which includes a Franchise Mode. Madden's Franchise mode has been one of the major issues for the game over the years, with players wanting more substantial updates to the mode and not always getting what they desire.
GameSpot's Madden NFL 22 review was a raving endorsement of the game, in part for its "meaningful new additions" that are part of the franchise game, such as new strategies for weekly play. "No two games are the same, and Franchise manages to strike the perfect balance between what you do off the field has positive effects on what you do on it, until it fundamentally alters how you're expected in each match-up," Reviewer Richard Wakeling said.
