The spawn points are unlocked during the time the side quest is finished. It is required that players run a specific distance through the City in order to complete the quest. The spawn location can be done via the City map by choosing the desired area of spawning and confirming it.

In the Unlock Spawn Points side quest is offered by ATM an NPC within the City. The quest requires the players to cover 26.2 miles. This must be done on foot, therefore using the BMX skateboard, skateboard and rollerblades are not considered to count toward the total distance that is travelled. The participant also needs to be running, not walking. While tracking the quest, you'll see the progress indicator on the left-hand edge of the display so that players are able to see how far they've travelled.
