The game's matching is fantastic and generally, you face teams with quite evenly match-up. The player rating you earn is not the most important factor, but more about 2K22 MT how smart (or stupid) you're playing. It's painful to be paired up with someone who does not defend and simply would like to shoot three-pointers but it's not an option.

Street basketball appears slightly more polished than last year's in general, but most importantly, you're feeling as if you've got a little more control over the actions of your player. In previous versions, you could be stuck in an animation that had to play before you could move on. This is not the case in 2K22.

A number of new game modes are now available on MyTeam. For instance, online you can play MyTeam Draft, where you must first choose some players you don't have in your collection. The game is a considerably more exciting than it was prior to.

'The 100' is also an interesting addition. It is not recommended to score more than 100 total points against multiple opponents. The player who is the last (and defends the most) is the winner. MyTeam continues to do everything they can to lure you to buy player packs or player contracts following buying the game. Unfortunately there is no improvement to be seen.

The mode of career where you create your own character and Buy 2K MT move through a storyline is totally new. In addition to your basketball career, you could take on your own fashion line and music career. The interactions you have with other people aren't as funny as in GTA however they aren't entirely believable.
