The last two points are why you should be able to RS gold exploit the weakness of monsters. If you're fighting Dark Beasts (which can now be a threat to you) and you show weakness in range, then you choose to use melee at them, you'll notice two things. One is that you can barely strike.

The other is that the magic damage can be a lot more because of your armour. (A way to get around this part is wearing Hybrid equipment, such as the Warpriest's Armadyl gear, available as a drop from Aviansies and other creatures within the GWD) It's also worth noting that you should definitely invest in a Royal C'bow. Ammo is incredibly cheap, costs just over 1M to produce, and it is more powerful than CCB.

Another thing to note: Make use of your abilities as frequently as you are able to. For instance, if I'm casting Fire Surge on the glacor, then if I apply a magic spell, I DO NOT USE UP ANY RUNES AT ALL. Also, arrows with range. For slayer tasks, you'd want to avoid ultimates, and focus on basics and thresholds, until you can use Guthix' Blessing to heal, or Berserk/Metamorphosis for some crazy damage.

If you're not able to purchase a royal crossbow, have thought about purchasing an Armadyl-style crossbow. Always utilize 2H or dual weaponry when tackling slayer tasks.
