How to deactivate your Instagram account

Here are the steps to deactivate your Instagram account from phone or computer:

  1.  Log in to Instagram in a web browser using your account details.
  2.  Tap your profile picture.
  3.  Tap Edit Profile.
  4.  From the bottom, tap Temporarily disable my account.
  5.  Select a reason, enter your Instagram password, and tap Temporarily Disable Account.
