How to write a strong piece about yourself

Now that you know what should be on an about me page, let's put it into practice. After writing out the following steps, you'll have a nice first draft for the text about yourself.

1. What do you do and what does it deliver?

According https://essaypay.com/capstone-project-writing-service/ Many entrepreneurs only name what they are: a sports masseur, a photographer or a graphic designer. This leaves it unclear to the other what results their work gives. Try therefore, on the about me page, very specifically describe what you do and what it gives the other. Clear and without any room for the client to interpret it themselves (More explanation on this? Read step 2 of this blog).

Example: My name is Carolien Janssen, a specialized photographer in capturing emotion and moments. Without posing and with a lot of fun I put you on the photo exactly as you are.

2. From problem to solution

In a nutshell: every customer has a problem or issue. As an expert in your field you know exactly what's going on and how your solution contributes to a better situation. Therefore, describe how the customer experiences the current situation and make a link to the future. What will happen when the customer joins forces with you? What positive consequences will that have? What does that future look like? Again, visitors can think of it themselves, but rather you make it very clear ;)

Example: How cool would it be to have a beautiful family portrait on the wall? One in which you are really smiling, full of laughter and with your teeth exposed. A picture where you look at and spontaneously relive the joy of the moment?

3. Why you?

Marco Borsato sang it already: "Why did you do it?

You have a great product or service; it is exactly what your customer is looking for. But why should he choose for you and not for the competitor?
