XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced a PC release for farming sim and action RPG hybrid Rune Factory 5. The game will release via Steam on July 13, 2022. It is available to pre-purchase now with a 15% discount on its regular $59.99 price. A Deluxe Edition is also available that includes the Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfit Set. Additional costume DLC will be available to purchase at launch.

According to the review, the game is incredibly sensitive to stick drift; even when playing on Nintendo Switch’s Pro Controller, the game also suffers from some input lag, making the combat and even the crafting process less fun. The game’s graphics are not so great when it comes to the environment; even though the character models are astonishing, the in-game world looks flat.

While Rune Factory 5 launched for Nintendo Switch on March 22, the game is yet to launch on any other platform. If it comes to PC, the game will join Rune Factory 4 – which was brought to PC last year.

Many of these problems could be solved once Rune Factory 5 goes live on PC, so players should not be worried about it. This is not the first Rune Factory title that comes out on PC, so players should trust Hakama studio and their previous projects.
