Frankly horde and alliance doesn't matter at all in my opinion unless you're a hardcore player. You can find a guild and WOW players that do all kinds of content on either faction. 99 percent of WOW players won't be profoundly impacted by faction choice, again in my view. There is a lot of noise around faction imbalance in part because the loudest voices are WOW players who are impacted by it.

Concerning class choice is a good time to try a lot of classes out. It's possible to level quickly which you can find a sense of what a course is like in a couple of hours.
