Though only certain parts of Orgrimmar appear in the video above AXCEL's work

When the tools became WoTLK Classic Gold available and widely used, many developers across the globe have committed to making use of Unreal Engine 5. including the likes of The Coalition, Konami, Crystal Dynamics, and CD Projekt Red. In fact, CD Projekt Red plans to make use of UE5 for the next regular Witcher game. Other developers have also benefited of Unreal's powerful tools as well. Myrkur Games Environment Artist Christian Gomm employed Unreal to recreate The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's Riverwood area, for instance. YouTuber Just An Idea showcased what an Metal Gear Solid remake could look like using Unreal Engine 5. The previous year, one fan even gave Ocarina of Time a new look thanks to The powerful engines. If another fan-made World of Warcraft build is the case, such creative efforts won't end anytime soon.

As was reported by GameSpot, YouTuber AXCEL managed to inject new life into the world of warcraft's Orgrimmar by rebuilding the entire area in Unreal Engine 5. This remarkable remake build makes sure that this city, which is also the capital of the Orcs has never looked better. The high-rise structures that are visible in the distance are bursting with detail even when they're obscured by fog. The mountains surrounding the city seem to show shadows in real-time, and also. This, in essence, is a good example of the reasons why World of Warcraft could do better with a new version.

Though only certain parts of Orgrimmar appear in the video above AXCEL's work is the highest praise. The level of detail in what appears in the video is astounding particularly when you think about the number of moving pieces involved. Without doubt, many more World of Warcraft fans will play around with remake projects made using Unreal Engine 5 for years to be.

In the meantime, the MMO itself sits on the brink of major change. Publisher Blizzard Entertainment is planning to hold a livestream on Tuesday, April 19th, to reveal information regarding World of Warcraft's upcoming major expansion. Leaked information, discovered on the official website of Blizzard, indicates that the new content will be called Dragonflight and launch with three distinct editions: Base, Heroic, and Epic. The WoTLK Gold company is yet to confirm any of the above.
