The alpha version will let players test both massive and small-scale gameplay tweaks
Blizzard announced that the first phase of the Dragonflight beta test will begin today, on July 14 2022. This World of Warcraft expansion's alpha will allow players to explore the brand-new Azure Span zone, plays as WOTLK Gold the Dracthyr Evoker and ride dragons and test new interface enhancements.
Azure Span Azure Span is an area of tundra that is inhabited by the humanoid walrus species Tuskarr blue dragons as well as gnolls and Furbolg. It's part of WoW WOTLK classic's Dragon Isles, and is an inspiration to and influenced by the Redwoods of California, along with the previous WoW WOTLK classic zones like Grizzly Hills. It's among the biggest areas in WoW WOTLK classic up to now and provides the most drastic elevation shifts.
