WoW Classic The Post-Launch Updates have Been Outlined

Blizzard has announced the post-launch timeline to World of Warcraft Classic, which includes regular , packaged drop of content. The MMORPG will receive more content over six phases WoW WoTLK Classic Gold.

"Our focus is still primarily on player power-progression, however, we're also hoping to capture the experience of being able to play in a realm community within the original WoW," Blizzard community manager Randy Jordan wrote in a forum post. "To achieve that it is our intention to mimic how the first WoW by putting patches together. The first Classic update will launch Classic with content from original WoW through patch 1.2.x After that, the next update will contain contents that were present in WoW 1.3 and 1.4 Third Classic update will include 1.5 as well as 1.6 content in addition to the 1.5 and 1.6 content."

Blizzard hasn't released the exact date of launch for phases two to six. Furthermore, PvP content currently not listed in any of the phases due to the fact that Blizzard is "still reviewing" the various options regarding how rewards from PvP could be handled. For now, phase one--which is the launch of WoW Classic alongside its Molten Core, Onyxia, and Maraudon updates is scheduled for the summer of 2019.
