Despite the fact that Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn't be more off in its assessment of how great these current Chicago Bulls are.2K has four currently Bulls players listed among the best 100 players within the game. DeRozan and LaVine take their 19th and 23rd positions respectively NBA 2K23 MT. Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59. Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball comes in at No. 73. It's a bit of a surprise that Andre Drummond is rated as the fifth best player in Chicago. He also just barely misses the cut.

Following that, the roster's ratings as a whole are the worst they've ever had. The Bulls' backcourt takes an enormous hit, since Alex Caruso, Coby White, and Dosunmu have all been sacked one point when common sense says they should all be much better next year. Dosunmu's 76-percent overall rating is particularly shocking, given that he just earned All-Rookie honors. The all-rookie second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal numbers to Dosunmu (and was dominated by Ayo in head-to-head matches) as a starting guard, but earned a higher overall rating.

Rookie Dalen Terry was also assigned a shocking 71 overall score, which places him below even the likes previously mentioned Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr., as well as Tomas Satoransky. Three of those players aren't even in an NBA roster and the fourth player is only a minimum "prove that it" contract. He'll soon be joining the other three players in case he doesn't improve in a significant way.

I'm not expecting Terry to appear and start a firework in the near future, but placing Dalen in the middle of these players is very absurd all things considered.As the whole, 2K has rated the Chicago Bulls in "Tier 2" this means they're not in the top 10 league teams. However, the Lakers are one of those 10 teams that are in Tier 1. in spite of how messy their roster construction has been over the past two years.
